The nation of Scotland is a place where God has moved greatly. Many of the most effective preachers and greatest moves of God have been birthed on her shores. God has used the peoples of Scotland in a mighty way throughout the Church's history, and all Christians in the world have been blessed by what God has done there. We are so appreciative of what God has done through the Scots, but Scotland finds herself in a place where most of the people are at least one generation removed from a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The people have turned away from God, and it has been said that Scotland is now a post Christian society. Only 2% of Scots attend a Christian church. How sad and heart breaking this is to me as I know it is to you. We believe, though, that God is moving to bring the peoples of Scotland back. There are just a few that are standing in the gap, and bringing the gospel of Jesus to Scotland again. God has called Caledonian Ministries to just this calling. God has given us the mandate to re-evangelize Scotland, and we are working to that end. We believe that the Spirit of God will again move in Scotland in a mighty way. God has given us a call to reach the peoples of Scotland by working with existing congregations, aiding it the planting new congregations, and meeting the felt needs of the Scots; that we might reach the country for Him. We know that God will equip us to fulfill what He has called us to do. God is using the Body of Christ to help us by being prayer partners, working, and giving to this great call. We welcome you to join us as together we reach these wonderful people for Christ. We know that, together, we will reach Scotland for Jesus, and believe that once again God will reign in Scotland.
